Southwest Colorado is one magnificent playground and High Mountain Anglers is devoted to creating a positive outdoor experience based on your time, interests and needs. Starting in the early spring through the late fall we offer the following opportunities:

Guided llama day hikes in Durango and Silverton areas
Guided day fishing trips on local lakes and creeks
Drop Camps in specific areas only
Llama leasing in the Weminuche Wilderness

High Mountain Anglers is locally owned and operated by Ken Hibbard who has lived in La Plata County for the past thirty years with his wife and two sons. Ken has been a firefighter for the City of Durango, a Bayfield Middle School teacher and for the past twenty seasons, a high school baseball coach in both Durango and Bayfield.
